Meet Kami

Owner, Lead Designer

Kami landed her first clients when she was just ten years old. Barbie and Ken were a dream to work with and allowed Kami to experiment with all kinds of ideas in their two-story dream house. She spent hours arranging and rearranging the furniture, making slipcovers and custom draperies, and hanging doll-sized art on the walls. The seeds were planted for her career in interior design.

Today, Kami serves as the owner and principal designer at KBI. Since 2014, she has helped hundreds of clients turn their visions into reality. From a childhood dream house to real homes filled with life, Kami continues to approach each project with creativity, purpose and a deep respect for how people live.
